February 25, 2004 NOTICE-Snow King is closed to flying for the winter season!!!
The main reason is due to the area boundary dissecting launch. However, we are in danger of losing this site permanately due to conflicts with the lift workers.
Be courteous to Snow King workers and to the general public!
No landing at the Ball Park! No landing Rodeo Grounds!
Only Land at the Karns Property. Stay clear of the lifts and buildings! You must have a current USHGA card, P-3 or above, and a 2004 club sticker to ride the chairlift!
Follow the rules or risk losing lift previlages!
June 25, 2003 Snow King LZ Approved at Karns Ranch Property
The Karns family has graciously given permission to use their land as a Landing Zone. They only require that pilots sign a waiver releasing them from any liability, and that we respect and treat the property with care. The property is bordered by Snow King Ave. on the south, Broadway on the north, Flat Creek Dr. on the east, and the Virginian on the west.
Please do not park at the LZ, walk or shuttle back to the base of the King.
The forms are NOT available at SnowKing. You have to get a form from Tom, Scott or Chip.
If you don't have a form filled out and turned in, you can't land there!

We are in danger of losing our Snow King Paragliding previliges! The following are rules that need to be followed in order to keep the site open:
1. P-3 site only
2. Current USHGA card
3. JH Free Flight 2002 sticker
4. Snow King one ride ticket or pass
5. NO LANDING AT THE RODEO GROUNDS!
6. NO tandem flights
7. Be kind and courteous!
The only legal landing zones are the Snow King ballfield, the fields by the Rec center and the High School fields, and these are only good when there is not an event happening.
Spread the word and keep the King open to flying!

The Karns property is avalible For novice pilots to land, when the rodeogrounds are being used.
Please use the highschool or Middle school when ever possible, to minimize the use of the Karns property.
